Can Shot Spotter Be Used as Supporting Evidence?
The ACLU says shot spotters, methodology is used to provide evidence against defendants in criminal cases. They say it isn't transparent and hasn't been peer reviewed or otherwise independently evaluated. And then there are allegations of some naughty things going on at shot spotter and betweenshot spotter and police departments.
