The Double Bind of General Conferences
The purpose of general conference realistically makes the biggest impact is through the hypnotic effect that it has. A lot of people just saying they just found it really boring and I'm fulfilling and they obviously felt shame about that. That's the trap that that's the double bind the churches in. If they want to keep it engaging and interesting, they're going to be doing LGBT, you know, anti LGBT rhetoric.
