"I don't think that you should pull from this, that God is telling Paul via these people not to do it," he says. "It's very clear throughout the entire Pauline narrative anyway, that the spirit is driving him to get to Jerusalem." He adds: "The knowledge of why the thing that is leading them to say you shouldn't go is brought about by the spirit"
