Karen says pregnant Chris says Midge was great with child. Walmart and many parents felt that Midge looked too young to be having a baby. The first time Barbie ran for president was 92, perhaps stung by her defeat. She sat out the 96 election, but came back strong with a renewed sense of purpose in 2000.
