Are We Always on the Clock?

In the evenings, we're preparing for work to morrow. On holidays, if we're lucky, we get to unwind for a few moments before having to start back again. This was instituted by capitalism. An economy based on wage labor means that time becomes commodified because time becomes money. We have to give our time to work to make profit for those who own and control the resources that we need to survive. I think people find that quite difficult to get their heads round even though everybody hates work em. But i think if we did if we were offered the opportunity to, you know, have over our time, i am sure we would be able to find very exciting and interesting
