The Importance of Compatibility in Computing

One of the things that's happened is so I've been a big user of what's now wolf language and mathematical and so on. one can build having built those tools one can then do more science and see further at a scientific level. The fact that we can maintain compatibility over this long period of time is kind of a dividend from that from that effort. It's like gosh it's a polyhedron that is as you know looks like a modern polyhedron well that's because apolyhedron just is a polyhedrons it's an abstract kind of thing.
