Underneath Every Genre Is a Drama

When we're thinking about musicals, if you understand musical, you can understand everything else about genre. Underneath every genre is a story about somebody who wants something and trying to get it as best they can in the best way that they can do it. Every comedy is a drama. If you handle curvier enthusiasm in a slightly different way, it is a really disturbing drama about a guy who just can't handle the world.
