The Pick Me Voice
I've never heard somebody put it the way you did about the pick me voice and that getting picked by Oprah, the queen herself, that even that wasn't enough. Even something that looks perfect on paper, if it's not connected to our desire, it doesn't happen. I think the reason it wasn't enough is I was making the classic mistake that I know many of us have made maybe maybe women, more than men. And so somehow I got the crazy idea that if I got on Oprah and she said I like your work, I would finally trust myself and what I was doing. That really causes why bother because it can never be done to be done as to say my life
