WordPress - Native Lazy Loading of Images
A lot of people in the world who are using low powered, they're using a phone. Lazy loading is something we used to do in JavaScript, but now it's built into browsers. It prevents images that are off your viewport from loading until you start scrolling down. But with lazy loading, it doesn't work very well because suddenly they scroll a little bit and now they have to wait for another image to load. What it just brings up is that you really have to think about your users.
