Is There a Family in the World?

At 14, my mother's old friend adopted me as part of their family. After that, i popped in and out of foster care but not really having a true family of my own. While at school, i met a guy whom i wasn't really attracted to, but more like drawn to him. He always made me smile, even if i knew he wasn't having a good day. Before you knew it, i was head over heels for this guy. We got married and quickly got pregnant with our first boy. One day, our lives got turned on its head, as so many others did. This lead to seven years of her husband coming and going from iraq to afghan
