I think we've talked about this a little bit, but I do. So like, how does colonialism shape what we think of as the drag? And you already did say some of these things. The other thing is also that I think it grants white people neutrality so they can perform all kinds of numbers and genres and look right doing it. People of color are expected to perform in certain genres. If you're not serving that, you're not doing the drag that the audience wants. Asian American performers often really restricted in what they perform because people don't know about Asian and Asian American culture.
