i learned yidish before i learned hebrew or english. For my mammy was very important that i build bridges. She introduced me to this kid named lowis, who we made playdates in our neighbourhood for me to be friends with him. I didn't know that tuces was a word in yiddish. We're spanish. But ris, that's the tte world that i was raisedin. And i think my mam was the one that gave us the impetus to make sure that we always built relationships with people that were different from us.
