i wonder ifany demo in any other mass market art form is as dominant as forty to 60 year oldcollege educated women. And i don't it doesn't seem like in movies this really happens, which was why the crop crowdad thing was interesting to me. It's not an accident that the kinds of movies that are marketed to the female demographic and the books that often break out have some romance element to them. I think you could actually trace it all the way back to gone with the wind,. But i'm not sure that you need the college educated piece of it for getting a book be nomenon among women readers. What you need is enough women with enough time and disposable income
