The Teenage Years Are Hard
A lot of mental health professionals who work with children miss those other signs that could be pointing to word depression. One of the things that is completely shocking is that there is a terrible dearth of child psychologists and psychiatrists in this country. There's more help concentrated in major cities, but if you're in a rural part of the country where you don't have ready access to therapis and supports, you have to figure an off by yourself.
