"I was that horribly sick and when I went in, I knew that I had gained some strength," she says. "But I didn't expect what was not only because the muscular dystrophy ... You have a muscle called a diaphragm, which helps you to breathe in and breathe out." The doctor said her respiratory function is above anything that we can imagine; they are going to take her off her ventilator.
