Do You Have a Mentor in You?

Mike goyle was able to land a job when he first moved to alles. He could afford to take the time to show up in places where they were and offer to take them out for coffee or drinks. Mike, how do you feel about the necessity of a p o c community having to build our own networks in order to even stand a chance? That isn't necessarily the case for white folks, or it might be a little more naturally built in for white folks than it is for black people. Do we have allies who want to help us? Absolutely. But we still have put ourselves in a space of building that out for ourselves.
