Rent is subject to the laws of supply and demand, just like chicken. Over ten years, i essentially paid the same amount in rent at the beginning and at the end. My rent went up sometimes, and i accepted it. Sometimes it stayed flat, and that was fine. And sometimes it went down, and i took the wind.
