The Volatility Index Is Up a Little Bit
Economist George Theronor has made 11 of the last rate calls right. He says he's done that because he's kept monitoring the way the RBA keeps flip-flopping between protecting jobs and cutting inflation. So next Tuesday, is it a pause? I don't know if it will be. If rates are being cut at the end of this year or next year, it's because there's a recession. And that's bad. But what I reckon is let's just do nothing for two years.
