The Fixer Upper Effect in Wako, Texas

Wako, Texas has always been a mid sized city on the lower income spectrum. But it is now blossoming into the college town of southern baptists didn't want it to be. There's a downside for residents who can't compete with people coming in from out of state and buying up houses sight unseen. The idea is just the visibility of af a national show like this has driven up prices and reduced availability.
