Starting Small Is Not a Bad Idea
Start small. Ask whoever wrote the position justification for that document. What was the burning problem that got your job approved? If you're replacing someone who left after a long period of time, ask people what was the most successful thing that previous person did. There's usually a roadmap somewhere. You just might have to look for it a little bit. The other thing I found at smaller hospitals is that often there's more ability of pharmacist to like input medications and write medications for docs.
