Meta's Fines for Privacy Issues
Norway is going to fine meta 100,000 euros per day until it fixes its privacy issues. These fines will start on August the 4th and are related to how meta tracks Facebook and Instagram users. Meta has made some changes to how they collect and store data reacting to some EU regulation. Norway feels that these changes do not comply with EU regulations.
