Exxon and Climate Change
Ed Garbie: Exxon was trying to be an energy company, not an oil company. He says they were more interested in alternatives sources of energy that would allow middle class American life,. while North American life fell, to continue without burning fossil fuel. It seems to me that the fundamental thing that underlies it is this change in what I call the political power within the corporation.
