There are parables in Luke that aren't necessarily found in the other three gospels. In chapter one, we have one of the stories of the visitings. When he writes about the visitation of Mary visiting Elizabeth, he is showing you something on the surface. But if you really look under the hood here, you'll see that he is mirroring second Samuel six. That's where David brings the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem for the first time.
