Fermentation Tanks - Are There Suppliers or Manufacturers?
A lot of the outputs that you need are required at a very large scale, but with the sort of precision and purity of the typical farmer style output. This, by manufacturing, requires these fermentation tanks. So there are manufactures out there called c m o, contract manufacturing organizations that actually have spare fermentation capacity. Sometimes a you can go to third parties who will do this. Also, sometimes our customers have this capacity themselves, an house. And so essentially what we do is we usually have some idea of where we're going to be making a the product of interest when we're dsigning the organism. And so we try to design both the organism and the process, how we culture it
