People who are able to customize another person's avatar identified more with that or that avatar, and they were more likely to be influenced by his or her sales pitches. And again, like the more you give people the option to customize, that does bolster their identity. They identify more with that source. So they feel they're in control; it's actually that concept of psychological reactants that's getting minimized. This is why companies put out these hashtags hashtag. I'm loving it, right? People are just like, oh, good. I can work with this. I can customize around this hashtag and in the long run, it's probably going to give most people more favorable impressions.
