The Existential Hope of the Self

I think that there is a certain kind of existential hopeful orientation of the self towards um towards the existence of good and evil. I'm open to being wrong here but I certainly think that the path is much more difficult and I'm very wary of it. It can very rarely if ever be sustained without being reduced to a question of personal power over others.
