TypeScript 3.8 adds a new syntax for type only imports and exports. In the VIT world, I've never had to think about it twice. You can't do an if statement to show and hide both the open and close like you would in PHP. The react wrapped component might have a lot of props that can get tucked away into a function component defined in a loop. It's been a while since I've been outside of this territory.
