Sally Kohn: We use party as a shorthand for what we believe anyway, and I think that's fine. If you agree more or less with one or the other, you identify with the party. You don't have to think about every single candidate every single time. She says voter ID is great idea but it puts a barrier in between racial minorities and the voting booth.Kohn: There are maybe some people who don't have ID, but it's down to that level.
