Resets Are Everything
Roxanne Jones: Resets are everything. Then resets must go because my whole gym is a big reset. And then I'm like, man, this is so valuable, I can't just ignore it Because I don't want my gym to be a PT gym. She says she's trying to find that balance between lifting like a bro and keeping a performance training gym. "I feel like you're the best in the world at knowing all like both super bipolar ends of that spectrum," he says.
Steve Long has been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years now, and according to him, still feels like a dumbass on a weekly to daily basis when working with clients.
This feeling drives him to continually learn more, to be able to help his clients, and share some of the best nuggets that he picks up along the way with other training professionals.
Like anyone who’s been in the industry for a while, I too have had my share of ups and downs.
Because trust me – nothing will put you on an emotional rollercoaster like owning your own business!
So between Steve and I’s shared experiences, I think we’ve got a great show for you here today.
I shut down a large (8,000 square foot) facility where we did a lot of large group training to focus pre-dominantly on semi-private because that’s what I like to do – I like to dive into the minutiae of training. – Steve Long.
