The Importance of Understanding the Problem
I'm a similar boat to Matt where if it's getting any sort of complexity, I'm pretty much immediately out of bash because I just, I struggle. If you don't understand bash and you also don't have a good concept of what this tool is going to do, you're going to run yourself into some large problems.
