The Importance of Understanding the Problem
I'm a similar boat to Matt where if it's getting any sort of complexity, I'm pretty much immediately out of bash because I just, I struggle. If you don't understand bash and you also don't have a good concept of what this tool is going to do, you're going to run yourself into some large problems. And it's going to be very frustrating overall. Like there's no universal answer for or even like a widely acceptable answer for should this be a bash script or should this be something I write in a programming language.
