Gmail has really fond memories because it is at the very start of our relationship. Gmail was actually the second time I tried to make an email thing. My first attempt was in college in 1996. That particular effort failed because I got distracted and bored after a few weeks. Back to 2001 at Google, there was like a big reorg of engineering where I think Larry got frustrated that things weren't moving fast enough.
