The Gun Debate in the US Doesn't Influence Brazilians
There is a historical connection between Americans and guns right. Every generation has fought in wars so they live more openly with guns than we do. A lot of studies have proven that if you're carrying a weapon and you are robbed your chance of getting killed is higher than if you don't have a weapon. So it actually makes you more unsafe. There is also no correlation between countries in which people carry more guns and the degrees of violence right. Violence is much more connected to cultural and other variables such as where you live, drug trafficking and things like that. Bolsonaro himself is a living example of this.
