I think it's really important not to rush that bit, because i think sometimes writers can just throw out the odd line or whatever. And actually, that internal pece is the bit that the reader connects to. So giving yourself a paragraph or like, not worrying if so, you know, it gets that that indecision spreads over a couple of chapters. As humans, when we're unsure, we can be unsure for a while. The point is to create an arc across the book.
