The New DSM for ADHD

There are nine features of the inattentive presentation of ADHD. They need to be present for at least six months and they need to be kind of off par from what you would expect for somebody at that specific age or that developmental level. There also needs to be a history going back to childhood of these symptoms. Now here's where there were some changes but it's there's still a lot of nuances and disagreements about this. It used to be that the DSM said you have to have symptoms presented by the arbitrary age of seven and now they moved it to the arbitrary Age 12.
