i love that one of the things that is happening in this moment is moses is going to have to become vulnerable in this relationship with the lord. And i think we all have those vulnerable moments when we're like, ok, putting my life in your hands could hurt a little bit and it might be hard to walk. It wasn't easy taking off those shoes. There's it. The whole idea of im taking off your shoesa as a way of showing respect for a place that you are entering into. You just don't. People do not take off their shoes in desert places.
