The government was a historic compromise between a young, millennial political movement and the forces against which it was originally created. These people came up rallying against what 's known as a concertation - these big ten governments that ruled chile for a long period after democratization. And so to defeat cose antonio caste, who was borich's opponent in the 20 21 presidential elections, this bosonado of chile, relied on making really close relationships with the concertasion. To do that, it relied on calling on former presidents to basically marshal their basis.
