The Next Praise House
The Atlanta City Council in 1866 ordered the Oakland Cemetery Administration to remove all of those who were interned in slave square and cast them into a flooded zone. The next praise house will go to the cemetery that we created in response to that mistreatment. And it was in 1886 that South Atlanta had its own cemetery called Southview. Now we're going to put a praise house there to honor the 1906 race massacre victims.
