Sisco was hacked by a ransom were gang, and almost three gigabites of data was allegedly stolen. Sisco claims the attackers could only steal non sensitive data from a box folder linked to a compromise employee's account. This was a result of multi factor authentication fatigue where an attacker sent continuous m f a requests in the hopes that the victim will accept one just to stop the notifications. Which is very interesting social engineering attack that i have not heard of before. T mobileis not the only one with crap security, apparently. Our next story says, it might be our data, but it's not our breach.
