The Cuban Embargo Is the Most Comprehensive and Severe Type of Sanction

The embargo began in 19 62 after the cuban government, led by fidel castro, nationalized american owned businesses and assets. An embargo is the most comprehensive and severe type of sanction. It originally just prohibited trade and investment with the island, but that expanded the us. And than now includes even sanctions on foreign companies that do business or work inn ore property that was expreporated by the Cubans.
