Chakra Paintings - The Gates of Paradise
I was interested in portraying some of the different chakras, and so this had to do with the upper chakras of the throat, third eye, and the crown. And really it's about rising up to that realization of our essential nature through the confrontation with death. Letting go of those things that are hindering us from our spiritual progress is also part of the theme here. Yeah, definitely has a grateful dead kind of vibe.
