The Multiverse Explanation of the Mandela Effect

We live in a simulation thing, which is all sort of. And I mean, the Mandela Effect thing, is there a multiverse explanation from the Mandela Effect that goes beyond this? Because you decide we're actually like toggling back and forth between two realities accidentally. Some people, my students think that the CERN, a super collider might be involved as triggering the multiverse splitting or something. But it's somebody completely separate.
