Jin left us a really great message about this scene. She was talking about the fact that we never got to shoot outside, and when we did, everyone would get really excited. One thing that i remember from the grief counceling episode is that when i went to the sound mix, they were showing us the playback of the episode. And it sounded a little bit like alfred hitchcock the birds when first, when i first heard the play back for the bird funeral. But they quickly made a wonderful adjustment, and it was the right amount of outside birds. I love that. It must have been such a treat in a field day to be able to go outside and hear birds
