Lewis was a very bombastic man. He liked to argue. A lot of his writing is the fine tuning of his arguments with other people, and sparring. And he had friends just like him, like at home Barfield and several of his other friends. They love to do that. That is how they fine tune their arguments. We all have to just get a long agree. Because of that, we're kind of stunted in our growth. You know, when we talk about classical education, we talk about the great conversation. Well, if someone shuts down that conversation, then that is not a part of the great conversation."
