I always recommend talking to a doctor or a therapist that you already have a relationship with and saying, what do I need to do to pursue this or to learn more about this? And there's a great online assessment on attitude magazine.com. It told me that I should look into sensory processing disorder and ADHD. So that's a great tool to look through to make sure that when you go to your doctor, you have some real talking points. Yeah, the big ones for me task initiation. Most of the time with teachers, I hear it around grading; our brains lock down because we can't reconcile.
