The Colorado River and the Delta Region
The Colorado River drains all of Eastern Colorado, all the Rockies and then down through the desert Southwest. It traditionally went into the Gulf of Mexico but in recent years it turned south through Mexico to a swampy Delta region that was once teeming with wetlands. Do you want to hear about some diversity of plant and sea life and birds? Now, famously, John, I love all kinds of diversity. One of them is eco diversity. Eco diversity is what it used to have. But the Colorado River, like a great many rivers has done a lot of things in its life. We've all made mistakes.
