How Do You Feel About the Future?

There is no the future. There are a number of possible futures, and which one you get is always going to be dependent on what choices you make now. We're not making these choices with any full knowledge of how they're going to turn out. Do you still feel that sense of uncertainty and gambling when you release a book into the world or try to? Why would it be fun otherwise?
