Andrew Yang is going through a weird ritual that I've noted repeatedly election cycle after election cycle. The key question would be why aren't the regular news media reporting on the outsides effort being made to make sure that Andrew does not appear normally with other candidates in this democratic primary field. We need to better understand exactly what is the political economy of the news. It doesn't make logical sense if you believe that the principal reason for reporting on the election is to give voters an opportunity to hear all voices.
