What's the Central Tension?
Calum has no inner peace but he's also like desperately fighting to like gain some and hold on to it. There's stuff about his birthday which is kind of triggering to him. And that was kind of what was really resonating with me would be like the deep sorrow and also anger that you might feel as a parent if you had struggled all your life with severe depression or something like that. Then you had your own kid and you still are and you're still like desperately trying to work through this. That was kind of my read on like what the central tension is.
