The Syrians Flee, and if They Spare Our Lives, We Shall but Die
The king had despatched a man from his presence. When the messenger arrived, elisha said to the elders, do you see how this murderer has sent to take off my head? And while he was still speaking with them, the king came down to him and said this trouble is from the lord. Why should i wait for the lord any longer? Chapter seven, but elisha said, hear the word of the lord. Thus says the lord, to morrow about this time, a measure of fine meal shall be sold for a shekel at the gate of samaria. The syrians flee.
