On october ninth, 18 80, there was a grand parade of masons. Over nine thousand masons and members of the knight's templar marched up fifth avenue to central park. The pedestal at only weighed 50 tons; it took 32 horses to pull this thing through the streets because it was so heavy. And ias, he had to cook, well, this, you know, for tone.
